Careers

Come help us change how the world works.

We're a small team with outsized reach, spanning the United States and putting AI to work where it actually counts - giving real organizations, and the people inside them, their time back and functionality they never had before. It's the biggest shift in how work gets done in a generation. We'd like your help pointing it somewhere that matters.

Why here

A few (of many) reasons people like working here.

This is a genuinely good place to work, and it's not an accident - here's how that shows up day to day.

01 - You Matter

The goal is true and noble

Making someone's workday less wasteful is a goal worth having - and every line you write serves it directly. Production from week one: no shelfware, no internal tools nobody opens, no work that dies in a branch.

02 - The mission

Efficiency elevates all

Done right, a deployment gives real people back hours of their week, and that compounds across a whole industry. The work matters here because the arithmetic is real, and you will be close enough to watch it land.

03 - Flat by design

Flat hierarchy. Real autonomy.

No layers to route around, and no permission to ask for. You decide how your work gets done, you have direct access to everyone - including the people deciding what's next - and your argument carries the same weight as theirs.

Our ethos

Efficiency is how the floor comes up.

Steam, electricity, computing - each one reset what a person could get done in a day, and each time the result was the same. The assembly line didn't just make Ford money. It made cars, indoor plumbing and toothbrushes unremarkable. Things that had been luxuries for a few became ordinary for almost everyone, because producing them stopped being expensive.

That's the part worth caring about: a jump in what one person can produce in a day raises the floor, not just the ceiling. AI is the fourth of those jumps and it's happening in the open, right now. Software is the luxury good this time - most organizations still can't afford tools built for the way their work actually happens, so they bend themselves around whatever they could buy instead. We'd rather be the ones who end that. It's the work here, every day.

The offer

What you get, stated plainly.

No "competitive benefits package" hand-waving. Here's the actual list, the same one we'll walk through on the offer call.

Bonuses that mean it

Most of your comp is performance bonus, and the upside is real. Hit the mark and the total is more than competitive. Instead of frustrating to understand stock options, you get paid while we all make money.

Health coverage that fits

We put company money toward your medical every month, and you pick the plan that actually fits your family instead of living with the one group plan somebody else chose.

Paid time off

Time off that is paid, and that we expect you to take. We would rather you came back sharp than watch you quietly run yourself down.

Flex time

Own your calendar. We care about what you ship, not what time your laptop woke up. The one ask: be reachable through the working day, because a small remote team runs on being able to find each other.

Hit the ground running

Small team, no bench. What you build ships in your first weeks, not after two quarters of onboarding.

Debt-free company

No debt on the books and no lender with an opinion about how we run the place. It is a quieter way to build, and it is why the plan tends to stay the plan.

The fit

You'll do your best work here if...

We're not looking for a personality type. We're looking for people who want to build something that matters and enjoy doing it with a team.

Open roles

Nothing open at the moment.

We are not running a hiring round right now. We would rather say that plainly than keep a list of roles up that nobody is budgeted for, and leave you to find that out three conversations in.

The door is not shut, it is just not a queue. We hire off-cycle when we meet someone we would regret passing on, and that is exactly how the last two people here were hired. If that might be you, write to us. You will get a straight answer about where things actually stand.

How we hire

Short, honest interviews.

Just the right amount of steps. No rejection-by-silence - you'll always know where you stand. We want you to ask as many questions of us as we ask of you. Informal, but professional.

  1. COVER LETTER | READ BY HUMANS

Apply - and make it count.

Email or the form, your call. The cover letter matters: it's your first impression and a human reads them. Tell us why you want to work at Clarity AI.

  2. 20 MIN | DECISION MAKER | NO TRICKS

If we think you'll be an excellent fit, talk to a human, fast.

20-minute call with a decision maker. No take-home before we've spoken. It's all about finding the right 'fit'.

  3. REAL PROBLEMS | NO PUZZLES

    Go deep on real work.

A focused conversation about a live problem from our backlog - how you'd approach it, what you'd ask, where you'd push back. No trick questions, no puzzles, no take-home marathon.

  4. ASK ANYTHING | DIRECT | NO GHOSTING

    A clear yes or no.

Either way, you hear it from us directly. And at any point in the process, just reach out - questions out of band are welcome, and there is no wrong time to ask one. We are all humans trying to find our way, and we get it.

Core values

Six things we actually mean.

The cultural decisions we made early and have not walked back since. They hold whether or not anyone is watching.

  • High expectations, high grace.
  • Own the outcome, not the assignment.
  • We don't watch the clock - not because the hours are long, but because the work is that good.
  • Efficiency is the mission - for our customers and for ourselves.
  • Say the hard thing early, kindly.
  • No politics, no career-stepping stones.
The fine print

And what we don't have.

You should hear this from us now, not discover it later. If something here is a deal-breaker, the rest of the page won't fix it.

  • No 401(k) yet. It's on the roadmap, not in place - we'd rather tell you now than at signing.
  • Instead of equity that might pay off in half a decade that makes the founders rich and you frustrated, you win when we win, in the right-now.
A standing invitation

If you're spectacular, introduce yourself.

Tell us what you're great at and what you want to build next. We do our best to read and reply to every one. The right person shouldn't have to wait for a job posting.

We keep startup hours, which is to say all of them. Healthy? Debatable. Worth it? So far.
